Chemical Reactions are a mechanic type introduced to Soccer Zero through two separate updates, creating two distinct implementations:
Guardian Style update (May 16)
Two Chemical Reactions arrived with the Guardian Style update. Chrollo confirmed "2 Chemical Reactions" in the official announcement, but did not describe their trigger conditions, activation requirements, or effects in the public post. These may be Guardian-style-specific reactions or general reactions.
Brothers Update (May 23)
The Chemical Reaction system was expanded into a Link-Up Bar mechanic for Egoist and Bee style users. Egoist users pass to Bee users (and vice versa) to fill the bar. Once full, Chemical Reaction can be activated for powerful synergized plays. This incentivises teamwork and passing over solo play.
These are two separate implementations: the original 2 Chemical Reactions bundled with Guardian Style, and the Egoist+Bee synergy system added in the Brothers Update. We do not yet know if the Guardian Style's 2 Chemical Reactions are Guardian-specific or general-purpose.
